Discharge Criteria

A 27yo woman s/p hemorrhoidectomy under spinal anesthesia is standing and walking, but has not yet urinated.  She has tolerated ice chips, but felt nauseous after drinking orange juice.  Her pain is well controlled with oral oxycodone.  Your surgicenter closes at 5pm...it's now 4:45.
